Impact of Microsoft in my life
In my childhood ,when I hear of Microsoft first thing that comes to my mind was Bill Gates,the founder of Microsoft.His quotes has inspired me a lot.Everybody looks at him and wants to be successful as he is .As we all know that the importance of technology is growing everyday ,Microsoft plays an important role in it. It is helping the people to make their work easier .At those times what made me attracted to a computer was "Paint".It drew my whole attention. It will be the same for all kids of that age ,I guess.
Later I started to use Ms Office .It is an office suite for desktop application,servers and other services.Some of the main application are Ms Word,Ms Powerpoint and Ms Excel.These application helped me a lot in my studies.Most of the notes that I got from my faculty and what I used to prepare from home was in doc or ppt format. I used to prepare my time table in Ms Excel. Today I am proud to say that I am a certified Microsoft Office specialist (Ms word and Ms Powerpoint). Then I started to show keen interest in various OS that Microsoft is releasing.I used to eagerly wait for new technology or products to be released by Microsoft.
Then there came the age of smart phones.Microsoft not only excelled in pc but also in smart phones.Windows 8 OS is user friendly and attracted me a lot. Skype allowed me to stay close to my relatives .I used to communicate with them through video chat. I feel if such technology is not there ,the gap between relatives will increase in this fast moving world.What makes me more interested towards Microsoft is that they are not only considering about their own development but also helps to improve leadership skills and other qualities of students.They are providing various platforms for the students to improve their skills.Microsoft visual academy is allowing everyone to get IT training and other windows technologies through various courses.Visual studio is one of the best IDE. At present I am developing windows application in visual studio IDE. I took computer science as main stream for my higher secondary education (plus one and plus two). Today I am a B Tech Computer science student. Microsoft played an important role in choosing computer science as my main stream in higher secondary education and also in engineering.It helped me to develop a special liking towards the stream "Computer Science".
I feel, before releasing a new product or technology, it should be made very popular among people.They should be eagerly waiting for it to release and check out.This anxiety can be created among people through advertisements and also by conducting many workshops or seminars on upcoming technologies especially for the students in colleges.I still feel various technologies or products of Microsoft needs to be widespread among people in rural areas. As an MSA, I would be able to conduct various workshop and seminars on new technologies and concepts for the students in the college . Interacting with other students helps me to get precious suggestions ,ideas their point of view .This can be reported to the higher authority and can be implemented if possible.
